View and manage benefits provided by their employer.

emmyHealth may receive personal or sensitive information directly from your employer in order to operate the platform and display your benefits accurately. This may include:
Employment and eligibility information related to benefits.
Tax identifiers or Social Security Numbers.
Health or wellness benefit information.
Such information is provided by your employer with proper authorization and in compliance with applicable U.S. laws.
emmyHealth does not request this data directly from employees, but receives it only through the employer.
All received information is handled securely and used solely for service delivery purposes.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information when required.
Use the platform only for lawful and personal purposes related to your employment.
You must not misuse the platform or attempt to access unauthorized data or areas.
5. Relationship with Employers and Third Parties
emmyHealth acts solely as a technology and digital service provider, not as an employer or direct benefits administrator.
All benefit-related information comes directly from your employer or authorized third parties.
emmyHealth is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in data provided by employers or third parties.
6. Data Privacy and Security
Your privacy is important to us. Personal and sensitive information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable U.S. regulations.
Sensitive data, such as Social Security Numbers or benefit details, is encrypted and protected using industry-standard security measures.
emmyHealth does not sell your data or use it for purposes unrelated to the service.

All educational materials, newsletters, and quizzes are intended for informational and learning purposes only. They should not be considered professional financial, medical, or legal advice.
8. Intellectual Property

11. SMS Messages, Notifications, and In-App Consent
How Users Provide Consent (Opt-In)
Consent to receive text messages (SMS) from emmyHealth is obtained within the mobile application.
A user provides this consent when:
They log in for the first time using the credentials sent by emmyHealth via SMS.
They accept the Terms and Conditions displayed inside the application.
They are redirected to an in-app WebView showing the full Terms and Conditions hosted on our website.
They complete identity verification using a one-time passcode (OTP) sent via SMS.
By completing this process, the user explicitly agrees to receive the SMS messages necessary to operate and verify their account.
Types of Messages We Send
emmyHealth only sends the following categories of SMS messages:
Initial welcome message sent when the user account is created in our database using information securely provided by the employer.
This message includes:login instructions,
temporary credentials,
a link to an introductory video explaining what emmyHealth is.
One-Time Passcode (OTP) messages used for identity verification after the user accepts the Terms and Conditions inside the app.
These are strictly transactional messages required to authenticate and secure the user's account.

SMS messages from emmyHealth are sent from the following phone number:

Users should expect onboarding messages and OTP verification codes to come from this number.
Frequency of Messages
The frequency of SMS messages sent by emmyHealth is very limited, specifically:
1 initial onboarding message.
1 OTP message during the verification process.
Additional OTP messages only if the user requests them, such as for password resets or re-verification.
emmyHealth does not send promotional, marketing, or recurring campaign SMS messages.
